“Guilty” —a hollowness internally, post blow to the gut that makes me cave inwards, shoulders slumped, head hanging low. Guilty hits hard and makes me nauseous. It’s dark, muddy and sticky. Easy to wallow in that guilt, making laps around and around the blame, stuck in my culpability and never letting it go that I messed up so badly.
