This is one of the paintings for “The enthusiast/ adventurer.” Reading the data I gathered, a resounding majority chose a star to represent this spontaneous, extraverted, acquisitive, optimistic type. I stenciled a geometric star pointing in 7 directions to represent the multi-option mindset of a person always looking to explore new frontiers. Sevens crave novelty, travel and adventure, and the star resembles that of a compass rose. The 7 points also represent the indecision and tendency for this type to become scattered and exhausted from always being on the move, searching for stimuli, and diverting their attention in too many directions. Their lust and zest for life is represented via sunny yellows coupled with kid-in-a-candy-store neon rainbow hues. Some dark purples and edges symbolize the pain and hurt that type 7 doesn’t like to face. This pain can motivate them to busy themselves with options and curiosities to avoid and distract, hoping the pain will go away. Different paintings show the diversity of the seven experience, some being more restless and distracted, some appearing more centered and focused, grateful and content with the joys in their life.
